At this time, an online vision exam is not as accurate or precise as a routine in person exam. However, there are situations (avoiding personal contact, social distancing) where an online exam can be helpful.
Online vision exams do not properly assess eye health. Online vision exam do not replace a routine in person exam. Online vision exams should be a last resort for assessing eye health. Contact your doctor ASAP if your condition worsens.

Contact lenses are physically worn medical devices. To avoid eye infections, blindness and/or being unable to wear contact lenses; it is important to wear contacts as instructed by your doctor. It is always best to avoid sleeping in your contacts. It is also best to NOT overwear contact lenses.
If you experience eyestrain, headaches or double vision you should contact your doctor as soon as possible. This could indicate a problem with your glasses or a significant health problem.
